Dr.
Funda Lena Nazik
completed her bachelor's and master's degrees at the Boğaziçi University Department of
Economics with high distinction, earning two awards in Economics and Statistics.
From 2007 to 2012, she ran her own production company in the music industry
before beginning her PhD at the Istanbul
Bilgi University Faculty of Communication in 2012. She
graduated first in her class from the PhD program in 2017. In 2015, she founded
KREKSA Research and
Consulting, and in 2018, she established the Lena & Mama Publishing House,
specializing in baby and children's books.
With
her Mothers' Tales
project at Lena &
Mama Publishing, she was awarded the Women Entrepreneur Making a
Difference award by the Lions
Turkey Confederation in 2019. Dr. Nazik continues her academic
career by teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at Istanbul Bilgi University,
while also managing Lena
& Mama Publishing and LenaCars. In January 2020, she was
elected president of the ÇEKSEM
Independent Professionals Association.
Selçuk Nazik completed his undergraduate studies
in economics and earned an MBA
from Istanbul Bilgi
University. He then continued his education in the U.S.,
successfully completing the Strategic
Marketing Management program at Cornell University.
Nazik
began his career at Erikli
& Nestle Waters, working in the food and beverage sectors
for 10 years. He then transitioned to the automotive industry, gaining
significant experience in positions such as Operations & Business Development Manager,
Sales Manager,
and General Manager.
During his career, he visited numerous car rental companies, authorized
dealerships, and corporate used car businesses across Turkey. Based on these
observations, he co-founded the LenaCars
brand with his wife.
